The Manga Works Story Arcs

Overview

When doing a serial, players must spend Plot Points (PP) to create a chapter. How many PPs have been spent on each chapter will determine what kind of story arc that chapter will be.

New type of story arcs not available normally can be accessed by a creating a combination of story arcs. After the requirements is met, the next chapter will always be a special story arc and no other normal arcs can be chosen.

This combination can have a positive or negative effect on the ranking of the serial depending on the combination. Negative story arcs will most likely reduce the serial's rank position.

Increasing maximum plot points (PP)

To increase max PP limit per story arc, create an arc with max PP. You have to repeat this multiple times in order to make creating higher PP story arcs possible. The best times to do this are during special story arcs, initial publisher submissions, and contests.
