The Seven Deadly Sins characters

Meliodas

Meliodas the Dragon's Sin of Wrath is the captain of the Seven Deadly Sins and the first bornchild of the Demon King who then betrayed his own race for the sake of his lover, Elizabeth. In his earlier days, he used to run the Boar Hat, a bar which was set on top of a giant green pig. The sin is based on how he wiped out the Kingdom of Danafor. Due to his betrayal, he has been cursed with true immortality by his father and Elizabeth cursed with perpetual reincarnation by the Supreme Deity.

King

King the Grizzly's Sin of Sloth, also known as Fairy King Harlequin, is one of the members of the Seven Deadly Sins. His formerly is filled up with mishap. He was forced to kill his best friend, erase the memories of his crush Diane and knowing that he neglected his duty to save his sister Elaine. His own race loathed him for leaving his own responsibility. This has led him to compulsorily join the Sins. Eventually, he then knew the true power of his spear and gained recognition from his race another time.

Elizabeth Lyonesse

Elizabeth is the main female protagonist. She is the third princess of the Kingdom of Liones, she is currently working as a waitress at the Boar Hat bar and traveling with Meliodas to find the Seven Deadly Sins.

Diane

Diane the Serpent's Sin of Envy is one of the members of the Seven Deadly Sins and was a prodigy warrior of the Giant Clan albeit her doubts on combat. Unofficially, she became the Queen Giant after being fully acknowledged by the former king of the Giant Clan, Drole. After she travelled outside her home, she had encountered the Fairy King Harlequin, who she then lives with. After coming back to the Giant Clan, they were betrayed by a Holy Knight acting outside his orders, She was forced to join the Sins.

Hawk

A talking pig and acompanion of Meliodas. He is also the cleaner of Boar Hat eating any scraps and cleaning up the mess around the bar.

Ban

Ban is the Fox's Sin of Greed, of the Seven Deadly Sins. He encountered the keeper of the Fountain of Youth from the Fairy King's Forest, Elaine, who died and insisted to give him the Fountain of the Youth to him on her deathbed after the forest got intruded by a Red Demon. Hence, he was known to be as the Undead Ban. Afterwards, he was then accused for causing ruination of the forest and the demise of Elaine yet couldn't be executed regardless of what methods were used.

Gowther

Gowther is the Goat's Sin of Lust of the Seven Deadly Sins. As shown for the majority in the series, he had a lack of normal emotions. This led him to infrequent dispute with the other Sins due to his intents of trying to comprehend normal emotions. Subsequently in the series, it was found out that he was a doll of an owner with the same name, who was one of the original members of the Ten Commandments.

Merlin

Merlin the Boar's Sin of Lust is one of the member of the Seven Deadly Sins and is regarded by many as the greatest mage in all of Britannia. After the Sins were declared outcasts, she went missing and afterwards, returned as the mentor of Arthur Pendragon, the King of Camelot. Later on, it was found out that she was the daughter of Belualin.

Zeldris is Meliodas' younger brother and leader of Ten Commandments. He was granted by the Demon King the Commandment of Piety, which grants him the ability to make anyone who opposes him completely subservient to him.

Escanor

Escanor is the Lion's Sin of Pride of the Seven Deadly Sins. He was born in a royal family but his magical ability Sunlight combined with a mishap made his family to detest and dread him. The ability of Sunlight turns his body weak and feeble at night, brawny and arrogant during the day.

Estarossa, formerly known to be Mael, was a member of the Ten Commandments and is the strongest member of the Four Archangels. His memories and the memories of everyone who knew him were altered by the original Gowther into thinking he was a member of the Demon Clan's Ten Commandments, Estarossa. His Commandment of Love allows him to manipulate those who possess loathing prevent them from harming others while fighting

Guila

She is a Holy Knight and part of the New Generation. She was sent to kill the Seven Deadly Sins and was the main antagonist during the Capital of the Dead arc.

Elaine

Leader of one of the more powerful groups of the old generation of Holy Knights far outclassing even the new generation. He is a vicious but loyal servent to the throne of Lyonesse.

Dreyfus

Derieri is an elite warrior of the Demon Clan and a member of the Ten Commandments, serving directly under the authority of the Demon King. She wields the Commandment of Purity, which allows her to manipulate those who have comitted immoral acts imposed with ailment.

Arthur Pendragon

Baltra Liones

Monspeet is a member of the Ten Commandments. He wields the Commandment of Reticence, which grants him the ability to cause anyone who display hidden feelings will be incapable of speaking words.

Gloxinia

Gloxinia is a member of the Ten Commandments and is the first Fairy King. He was granted the Commandment of Repose, which gives him the ability to have anyone within his presence who fights get their magic shut down.

Drole

Drole is one of the members of the Ten Commandments and former monarch of the Giant Clan. He was granted the Commandment of Patience, which allows him to inflict more damage upon those who manifest pain intolerance.

Grayroad

Grayroad is one of the members of Ten Commandments. She wields the Commandment of Pacifism, which allows her to manipulate anyone who has a killing intent to have their time stolen, making them age quickly and meet their demise.
