Leveling Up

If you level up an attraction to Level 5, you get to choose a bonus that carries forward into New Game+. This includes the ability to research it without spending points, or to build and expand it without spending money.

You get one leveling up point every time you attempt research, regardless of whether or not you are successful. To reach Level 5, you need a total of 13 leveling up points.

Each attraction has five research projects, and each research project has three stars:

Star 1: 100% success rate. Lowest cost in points.

Star 2: High success rate. Medium cost in points.

Star 3: Lowest success rate. Highest cost in points.

To maximize bonuses for future games for the lowest cost in points, you need to avoid researching for Star 3. That means you will want to fail some attempts at Star 2, so that you are gaining leveling up points but can research again without spending as much.

You can use the research cheat on the cheats and bugs page to retry if you succeed when you don't want to.
