Among Us

Among Us is a multiplayer online social inference Game developed by InnerSloth and published by Game Loop. The game was originally released in 2018, but due to its unique game mechanics and easy gameplay, it suddenly exploded in mid-2020 and became a worldwide hit. The core gameplay of Among Us is about communication, reasoning, and deception between players. The game tests the player's powers of observation, logical thinking and social skills, while also providing a wealth of character skins and customization options to increase the fun of the game. Due to its simple rules and heavy reliance on player interaction, Among Us has built a large community of players across a variety of social and gaming platforms and has become a cultural phenomenon.

Background plot

A game of teamwork and betrayal ...in space! Play online with 4-15 players as you attempt to prep your spaceship for departure, but beware as one or more random players among the Crew are Impostors bent on killing everyone.

Among Us is set on a spaceship or space station, and the player is divided into two characters: most are Crewmates, while a few are Impostors who impersonate the crew. The main goal of the game is to identify and vote out the crooks while ensuring that the crew completes the ship's maintenance and missions.

Crewmates win by completing all tasks or discovering and voting the Impostors off the ship. The Impostor can use sabotage to cause chaos, making for easier kills and better alibis. Choose how you want to play! Change the number of Impostors, roles, tasks, player visibility, and more. Play in style as you change your Crewmates’ color, visor, nameplate, outfit, and hat. More customization options are planned to be continually added in.

Cross-platform play is supported. Play with friends (or enemies?) between PC, mobile, or console!

Game content:

1. Role-playing: The player can choose to be a crew member or a cheater at the beginning of the game. The scammer needs to secretly kill the crew and sabotage the mission, while the crew needs to reveal the scammer's identity.

2. Missions and meetings: There are multiple missions for the crew to complete, and scammers need to secretly sabotage or pretend to complete the mission during the course of the mission. At the end of each round of quests, all players gather for a meeting to discuss who might be the cheater.

3. Voting and execution: Players can vote to expel a player, and the expelled player will leave the game. If the crooks are correctly voted out, the remaining crew will continue to complete the mission.

4. Deception and debunking: Scammers need to hide their identities among the crew while looking for opportunities to kill the crew. The crew watches behavior and votes to figure out who the cheaters are.

Game play:

1. As a crew member: Complete quests, observe other players' behavior, participate in voting, and try to spot cheaters.

2. As a liar: Secretly sabotage the mission and kill the crew while trying to mislead other players and avoid being banished.

3. Maps and missions: There are several maps and missions in the game, including areas inside and outside the spaceship, where the player needs to complete specific tasks.
