Fantastic, when it works, which isn't often. Doesn't help that it won't do anything without connecting to their servers first, which some nitwit decided Sunday is they best day to update. Not like anyone would think of smoking meat on the weekend. Even when that's not a problem it disconnects frequently, pretty sure from the servers. It ain't my wifi, I test it - full, consistent signal strength well beyond the smoker. If the app is important to you, get another brand of smoker. Wish I could.

I try to be be pretty forgiving about most things, but this is just really bad software design. Why does a wi-fi enabled device need to update via Bluetooth, from my phone, in a way that requires the user to keep the app open and unable to use any other app, or move out of what is apparently a very short range? Why does it take several minutes to connect to the grill, during an active cook, just to see temperature? I'm sorry but this is lazy, bad architecture, and the same problems exist on iOS.
