A chemistry learning tool
ReactFlash is a chemistry learning tool that allows users to view the origin of names, directly search and learn relevant literature, and view experimental information. It contains a wide range of content, allowing chemistry enthusiasts to discover more valuable insights here.
Reaction Flash Summary:
-Learning Naming Reaction
-Review and understand the mechanism
-Explore examples published in peer-reviewed literature
-Take the ReactFlash quiz to see how much you know
Some suggestions for using Reaction Flash in
Copy the response text to the clipboard:
Press and hold the response text to copy it to the clipboard - if you want to translate the text into language, you can paste it into the translator.
Create your personal settings:
You can add "Name Reactions" to your personal settings by clicking on the three dots on the "Name Reactions" card (bottom right corner) or selecting one or more "Name Reactions" from the "Name Reactions" list in the "Library". You can also rename or delete personal settings.
Random playback:
Click on the random play icon (icon in the upper right corner) on the "Name Reaction" card to allow the app to randomly suggest the next name reaction when sliding left or right, instead of displaying the next "Name Reaction" in alphabetical order.
Zoom in:
Pinch or double-click the graphic to enlarge or shrink it.
magnifier:
Pressing down on any image will give you a magnifying glass.
Drawing method:
You may be surprised by the drawing method - the Reaxys drawing method we used is different from the methods you may be familiar with (such as pentavalent nitrogen in nitro groups).
Introduction to Reaction Flash
Do you want to review your memory of named chemical reactions before an exam or group meeting? The free ReactFlash (R) application is a great way to learn about named reactions, understand their mechanisms, and view examples published in peer-reviewed literature or patents.
This application was designed and developed in consultation with Dr. Erick M. Carreira from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich, and now covers over 1250 named chemical reactions. Professor Carreira helps ensure that we have mastered the basic reactions that all chemists should have in their toolkits: from the most famous reactions to reactions that only Nobel laureates remember!
The design of this application is like a set of flash cards, so it can be used as a learning tool and reference. Each "card" displays reactions, their mechanisms, and examples from peer-reviewed and published literature. It also has a test mode that allows you to test your knowledge.
Linking to Reaxys allows you to find the latest examples of each reaction, many of which come with detailed experimental information. Reaxys provides experimental facts from literature, enabling researchers to find the best synthesis routes and conditions.
Download the application now and see if you know all the specified reactions!
